About the project

This building is simply impressive, both in construction and capability. With over 280,000 square feet of usable space, it offers Vortex room for their current operation as well as ample space for future growth. As a tilt-up building it offers superior reliability and maintenance costs over comparable steel clad construction. It took over 10,000 cubic feet of concrete, delivered through over 1,000 cement trucks, to form the footings, foundations, slab, and panels. 1 Vortex Drive has a state of the art HVAC system that utilizes both forced air and radiant heating and cooling. Also factored into the building’s repertoire are over 26 miles of data cables, 22 miles of fiber optics, and its 100% reliance on LED lighting. Hoff Construction has built Vortex a building deserving of their own dedication to perfection, and we’re proud of that.
